According to the last Unacea survey on the Italian market, in 2019, as many as 16,927 construction equipment have been sold on the Italian market, 16 per cent more compared to that of 2018.

During 2018, 14,645 construction machines have been sold in the Italian market, with a growth of 16 per cent compared to last year. Earthmoving machines sold were 14,144 (+16 per cent y-o-y), while road machineries were 501 units, up by 2 per cent.

In 2017, 12,766 machines have been sold in the Italian market, with a growth of 15 per cent compared to 2016. Earthmoving machines sold were 12,275, up 15 per cent on a year-on-year basis, while road equipment grew by 5 per cent, with 491 units.

Over the first nine months of the year, 7,964 construction equipment (CE)have been sold in the Italian market, up by 13 per cent, compared to the same period of 2016. Figures consisted of 7,551 earthmoving machines, up 13 per cent year over year. Positive trend also prevailed for the sector of road equipment, up 11 per cent with 318 machines sold.

Over the first six months of 2017, as many as 5,109 machines have been sold in the Italian market, up by 6 per cent compared to last year. The sector of earth moving machines grew by six per cent with 4,910 machines sold, while road equipment increases by nine per cent (199 machines sold).

Over the first three months of 2017, construction equipment sales in the Italian market rose 6 per cent compared to the first quarter of 2016, with 2,094 units sold. The figures consist of 2,005 earthmoving machines and 89 road equipment.

In 2015, construction equipment sales in the Italian market increased by 34 per cent compared to the last year, with 9,138 equipments sold. By analysing sales results, figures consist of 8,813 earthmoving machines (+32 per cent) and 325 road machines (+180 per cent).

During 2013, 6,192 vehicles have been placed on the market with a drop of 18 per cent compared to the data of 2012. Sales of earthmoving machines have reached 5,990 units (-17 per cent), 104 road machines (-32 per cent) and 98 concrete equipment (-53 per cent).
